EXPOSED GAZE

Exploring my photographic archives, it's easy to feel like I'm visiting a frozen moment in time. I take so many street photos as a form of catharsis that looking at them also feels like looking at myself, already a little tired of this—to me, strange—"normalization of decay." Yet, it's something I simultaneously enjoy, in a complex symbiosis between weariness and addiction. As if walking the streets, documenting everything that happens here, could somehow justify staying... This is what I sometimes like to call "Exposed Gaze,"
