Love Forever
Maria couldn’t sleep all night.
Her beloved had left her forever.
He left quietly, without disturbing his family and loved ones.
Only Maria knew how much effort it had taken him to keep smiling and staying cheerful until his very last day.
And on that last evening, he went to the market and bought Maria a small bouquet of her favorite flowers.
“Jorge, why did you leave the house?” Maria asked. “You’re not supposed to!”
He kissed her hand, placed the flowers on her lap, and said:
“My love, I will give you flowers until the very last moment. And even after I’m gone…
At the time, Maria didn’t think much of those words and just smiled.
On that terrible night, he left. He left forever.
The next day, family and friends mourned Jorge and prepared him for the funeral.
The coffin holding his body was filled with flowers.
By evening, everyone had left, and Maria was alone by Jorge’s coffin.
Suddenly, at exactly midnight, there was a knock on the window.
Maria went out into the hallway and looked out onto the street.
Her favorite flower was lying by the door.
She picked it up, pressed it to her chest, and went back to Jorge’s coffin.
But as soon as she crossed the threshold of the room, her legs gave way, and a surprised exclamation escaped her lips.
The flowers that had adorned Jorge’s coffin were lying on the floor.
But they weren’t just lying there.
They formed two hearts side by side, and at the bottom was the inscription “Love Forever.”

Hermoso texto. Hay mujeres que tienen la suerte de encontrarse a una pareja que las ame, incluso más allá de la vida. Creo que Jorge era así. Me encantó leerte. Un abrazo.
Gracias!
