Steemit Frontend instability
I guess some timeout error is happening under the cover that gets masked as this incorrect message.
I began to see those more often in the last few days.
Probably this could be tweaked nicely so it does not mislead non-technical users?
Saying it is a timeout error is in fact better, I think!
Here are some of our favorite quotes to motivate you to not give up and keep up the good work!
"Success isn't always about greatness. It's about consistency. Consistent hard work leads to success. Greatness will come."
By Dwayne Johnson
"Success seems to be connected with action. Successful people keep moving. They make mistakes, but they don't quit."
By Conrad Hilton
"Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired and success achieved."
By Helen Keller
"I've come to believe that each of us has a personal calling that's as unique as a fingerprint and that the best way to succeed is to discover what you love and then find a way to offer it to others in the form of service, working hard and also allowing the energy of the universe to lead you."
By Oprah Winfrey
"Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all."
By Dale Carnegie

I remember accounts in the past that left the platform because of such malfunctions. Maybe this is excessive, but it is certainly not pleasant, especially for those who do not have access to automatic upvotes, and not only, of course. It is simply annoying not being able to see anything on the site, and it should not be like that, no matter what technical skills and means are required to prevent it from happening.

I hear you.
Agreed, each of these "incidents" does not put positive image to the blockchain.
I'd definitely like the official frontend to look and behave more professionally.
Each STEEM we keep on the chain is investment and as an investor I get a bit spooked every time there is some kind of outage.
