In elementary school, I was constantly tanned from playing outdoors every day. These days, I avoid the sun like a vampire. Fair skin is a thing for Asians.
Yeah, controlled sun tanning has really become a kind of luxury.

This also means that you have a huge lack of vitamine D which causes depressions and more.

I still has sun exposure, it's just that I don't really bask under the sun. I sat in the balcony daily each morning, that's doctor's order
