Last day of the heatwave

Afternoon everyone ….

Today was the final day of the heatwave of April here. Today wasn’t as hot temperature wise, but the humidity today was the worst of the week. It still got up to eighty eight degrees today, but with the humidity it had a real feel of ninety seven.

That was until we just had a thirty minute thunderstorm, which has taken some of that humidity with it.

I was a really big fan of the Simpsons growing up. I don’t really watch much, actually barely any tv now. There just isn’t enough time in the day for me.

Today I’m going to share the very first coin of The Simpsons silver coin series. It’s Homer of course.

Just in case you don’t know about the Simpsons. Here is a brief overview……

The Simpsons is an American animated sitcom created by Matt Groening and developed by Groening, James L. Brooks and Sam Simon for the Fox Broadcasting Company. It is a satirical depiction of American life, epitomized by the Simpson family, which consists of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie.
