This is just another pattern of the regular bread. Since I love home made bread, why not? This bread got me salivating!
What steps are important to make a perfect dough. Have you tried it before?(2 Mark)
Making a perfect dough isn't about luck, it's about getting a few steps right and being patient with the process because it could exhausting.
First, Measure ingredients accurately: knowing your exact measurement gives you an amazing result. Too much flour makes the dough hard while too little makes it sticky and weak. Use fresh yeast (if needed) and the right amount of water (lukewarm) not hot so that you don't kill the yeast.
Second, Mixing: This process doesn't need a rush. You have to combine all ingredients until they come together, after which you proceed to kneading. Kneading might lool stressful but I tell you, that is where all the magic happens. Kneading gives your dough structure and elasticity. It makes it smooth, soft, and a little stretchy.
Thirdly, Resting: This is where you allow the dough rest in a warm place until it doubles in size. This step builds flavour and texture so it shouldn't be cut short.
After rising, you just punch it down and shape the dough without over stretching it, then allow for a second rest before baking.
I have tried it before when my mom still eats yeast before she stopped. It used to be a fun time. I love the kneading part, that is where I fully participate well because its more like fun to me than it's stress to others.
During the resting process, I usually open it at interval to see how the magic happens and when its done resting, I do the punching before shaping the dough. Well, that's a long time ago.

I have made a bread with just few ingredients excluding yeast. I am not a fan of yeast so I don't use it in my baking of bread.
This dinner roll looks different from the regular because I have used a cake pan to make it and there was no rising part. I don't have a bread pan.

Steps
• Add all dry ingredients; salt, baking powder, and flour. Combine all together using a spatula.

• Add all wet ingredients; milk, and mix properly leaving no lumps. Mix well with the spatula.

• Grease the pan with butter so the running batter doesn't steak to the pan and then pour in the batter and set well.

• Whisk an egg and get to grease the top for that shiny look. And allow to bake in low heat.

I almost thought of recreating this but upon seeing kneading, I changed my mind. My precious knuckles know what it faced when I used to make confectioneries for sale. I'm not going back to their life again, mbok.
But I'd eat it if someone prepares it for me. It looks so delicious.
Well, I didn't knead because it wasn't needed for the method I used.
