The Diary Game [15/06/2026] // A Recharge Day Before a New Week.
Hi guys, accept greetings from the motherland of Cameroon and welcome back to my blog, where I share my daily lifestyle experiences with you all.
Sunday is traditionally a day of worship for Christians, a day set aside to fellowship with God and prepare for the week ahead. However, this particular Sunday was a little different for me. After a demanding and activity-filled week, my body was already sending strong signals that it needed rest. I felt completely exhausted and knew that pushing myself any further would not be wise. Therefore, I made the decision to worship from home through an online church service.

As I joined the online service, I was grateful for the opportunity to worship comfortably from home. The sermon was uplifting, the worship songs were inspiring, and I felt spiritually refreshed without having to leave the house. It reminded me that God's presence is not limited to a church building, He meets us wherever we are when we seek Him sincerely.
Now, anyone who knows me understands that staying at home the entire day without getting involved in something is almost impossible 😆he he he he!. Even though I had planned to rest, I could not simply sit idle and do absolutely nothing. While looking around the house, I noticed some uncracked egusi that had been waiting patiently for attention. Immediately, I found myself a small project for the day.

So there I was, resting yet somehow still keeping myself busy by cracking egusi seeds. It was one of those simple household activities that require patience but can also be surprisingly relaxing. As I worked through the pile, I found myself looking forward to the football matches scheduled for later in the day.

Just as I was settling into my egusi-cracking mission, I received an unexpected but pleasant surprise. My mother-in-law came visiting, carrying some freshly boiled corn. Naturally, the egusi had to wait as I paused my work and gladly joined her for some delicious sweet corn. We spent time chatting, laughing, and catching up on family matters. Those simple moments of togetherness are often the most memorable. The sweet taste of the corn, combined with the warmth of our conversation, made the afternoon even more enjoyable.

Before long, it was time for the football action that I had been eagerly anticipating. The evening kicked off with the match between Germany and Curaçao. What a game it was! Goals seemed to come from every direction as Germany was simply unstoppable and showed no mercy throughout the match. They displayed their quality, discipline, and attacking power from start to finish.

Despite the heavy scoreline, there was something admirable about the young Curaçao team as they never gave up. Even when the odds were clearly against them, they continued fighting with all their heart and strength until the final whistle was blown. Their determination and resilience were truly inspiring. Instead of hanging their heads, they kept pushing forward and giving their best effort.
What impressed me even more were the Curaçao supporters. Despite witnessing their team suffer a significant defeat, they remained cheerful and continued encouraging their players throughout the entire match. Their unwavering support reminded me that true fans stand with their team not only in victory but also in difficult moments. That kind of loyalty deserves respect.
As the day came to an end, I reflected on how fulfilling it had been. I had worshipped, rested, enjoyed quality family time, kept myself occupied with a little household task, and watched an entertaining football match. Most importantly, I listened to my body's call for rest and allowed myself to recover from a busy week.
I ended the day feeling refreshed, renewed, and ready to face a new week with greater strength and energy. Sometimes, the best Sundays are not the busiest ones but the days when we slow down, recharge, and appreciate life's simple blessings. Until my next diary entry, guys, enjoy your week in peace ✌️.
