That sounds perfectly logical. Unfortunately, I can’t say that applies to me at all.
As a child, reading was my only ‘big thing’ and I spent the rest of my time in the horse stable… I’ve kept both up to this day, but professionally I construct biological sewage treatment plants ;-))
I think our age has something to do with it, as well. What I did until almost age 40 was not really related to my childhood although I did keep those things in the background as hobbies.
Now that I am in my sixties, I largely make my living from writing ("telling stories") and from finding and reselling vintage and antique items ("finding things") for profit.
