The murky horizons of the simple and the complex.
The murky horizons of the simple and the complex.
There was a time when everyone craved higher education, and that's not a bad thing, but as life shows, a university degree isn't always a ticket to life. Those were the catchphrases of school teachers, and those kids who couldn't get into university, but instead attended vocational schools, were considered lower caste, or something like that.
Today, I'd trade four years of university for a couple of years of training as a lathe operator, miller, or carpenter, but if the train hasn't completely left the platform yet, catching up is becoming more difficult every day.
I'm wondering why, my entire childhood, I dreamed of becoming a biologist, a zoologist, or something else connected to nature, but instead gave in to my parents' persuasion and went to study where the prospects at that moment seemed endless, when I could have been, for example, a forester or a gamekeeper :)
I should have lived in the forest, where everything was familiar, picking mushrooms and berries and birch sap, but no, for some reason I ended up leading people who, like me, were mostly thinking about something else.
It's strange, but since everything turned upside down, I only think about the animals in the garden and the plants, about the mechanisms I can make with my own hands... but I need to remember how to use a welding machine, and in a week, maybe a little longer, I can start making cages for laying hens and broilers.
Buy and sell, they have faded into the background, carried away by time like water, although, if the idea of creating collapsible multi-tiered cages is successful, it will be possible to make them to order.
God works in mysterious ways; you never know where He'll lead you, through what misty grizzons, but I like it, going from simple to complex. What seemed complex gradually becomes simple, and I haven't gotten to the complex yet... although, starting with all this is difficult.
