And the weather outside is uncertain :)

I don't know if you've noticed, but when someone asks us what the weather is like outside, we look up at the sky for rain clouds, or at our feet, or at puddles all around. And if there's neither, and no rain falling from the sky, we confidently declare the weather fine!

Essentially, this stereotype—and it is a stereotype—has been stuck with us since childhood, and its purpose, or effect, is to limit our horizons, perhaps intentionally, or perhaps because someone once looked at the world like frescoes in the pyramids, in profile, flat.

In theory, after asking about the weather for two, you should follow up with a few simple questions: "Why do you need it?", "What's your hobby?", "Do you like it hot or cool?"

For example, if the person asking you is a gardener, then for them this weather is both good and bad... very confusing. Essentially, this weather is good for them because they don't need to water the garden, but it's bad if they're planning to pull up a mushroom, but the garden is so muddy, like a swamp, that they definitely won't be able to do so.

And if your interlocutor is a fisherman, then sometimes after a rain the fish bite like crazy, and you can tell the mushroom hunter the good news that in a couple of days they can head to the forest; mushrooms should appear after the rain.

Well, we, more often than not, limit ourselves to just our meager opinion when saying whether the weather is good or bad.

More to come!
