Some time ago I visited the Sungai Sekamat Mosque to carry out worship with the congregation there. This visit is a calming experience because you can worship in a peaceful and solemn atmosphere with the surrounding community.

When we arrived at the mosque, the atmosphere looked so calm and comfortable. The mosque building stands strong and is an important place for the community to carry out various religious activities. The environment around the mosque also looks clean and well maintained, making the congregation feel comfortable when they come to worship.

When prayer time arrives, worshippers begin arriving from all directions. A sense of togetherness is palpable as everyone gathers to perform the prayer in congregation. The resounding call to prayer adds to the serenity and creates a deeply moving religious atmosphere.

For me personally, visiting a mosque is not just about fulfilling my religious obligations, but also a moment to calm my mind from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Sitting for a moment inside the mosque, listening to the recitation of the Quran and watching the worshippers worship, brings a sense of peace that is difficult to describe.

The Sungai Sekamat Mosque is also a place that strengthens ties between the community. After prayers, several congregants can be seen chatting casually and greeting each other with a friendly greeting. Simple things like this demonstrate the importance of the mosque as a center of togetherness and brotherhood among the community.

This visit was a very memorable experience for me. Apart from being able to carry out my worship in peace, I also felt a warm family atmosphere with the congregation there. Hopefully the Sekamat River Mosque will always be a place of worship full of blessings and will continue to be visited by many people to get closer to Allah SWT.
