Step 1:In the first step of making paratha, I took four cups of flour on a plate, mixed it with salt to taste and a little milk powder. Then I added a little oil to it and made a soft dough with the required amount of water. The milk powder was used here mainly to make the paratha much softer or fluffier and to bring a wonderful flavor to it. After the dough was made, I kept it covered in a bowl for about half an hour to soften it.

Step 2:Then I divided the entire dough into small round portions. In the next step, I took a round portion of dough, dusted it with a little flour and rolled it out thinly. When it was done, I greased it nicely with oil, sprinkled a little flour on it and folded the entire portion to make a small dough again. Finally, I rolled this new small portion into a paratha shape again, which now turned into a perfect paratha shape.

Step 3:Place a clean pan on the stove and heat it on medium heat. Place the carefully rolled Flat bread paratha on the hot pan and lightly fry it on both sides. When the paratha is slightly hot, spread a little soybean oil around and on top of it. Then turn it over and fry it until both sides are golden brown and crispy.

What type of bread do you make at your home. Have you tried flat bread before?

Flat bread(atta roti) is usually made every morning in our house, which I eat before going to the office. This work is mainly done by my wife. Flat bread is very popular as a breakfast in our country and diabetic patients also eat flat bread regularly in the morning and evening. Apart from that, on special days, we make flat bread paratha at home and sometimes eat paratha in hotels.

Yes, I have eaten flatbread (atta roti). Like most people in Bangladesh, I also have experience of eating such food regularly. Even though biryani is popular among the people of old Dhaka, flat bread is the main breakfast in the common people.
