My Introduction:

Today I am going to introduce myself to the Newcomers' Community My name is Amer Shahzad and my username is amersown and I belong to Lahore Pakistan. Below is my picture as of today.

I am 60 years old and a retired professional from the marketing profession. I have been doing different jobs in Pakistan and the Arabian Gulf region and my career spanned from the years 1986 through to 2025. Almost 40 years.

My Education:

I have a Master's degree in Business Administration from University of Wales United Kingdom (UK). I did my Masters in the years 1990-1992. As you can see from my below picture which is from the days of my graduation years in UK.

My Professional Career.

I have been on my job since the year of October 1986 throughout till March 2025. I served in the marketing profession. I joined as a sales officer and rose in ranks to the position of GM Marketing and retired at the same position last year.

My Hobbies:

My hobbies are travelling and seeing different places and countries in the world. During my academic years and during my career I visited entire Western Europe (UK, France, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, Austria and Germany etc). I also visited a large part of the Arabian Gulf (Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Jordan and China).

My Family:

My family consists of 5 people including me and my family. That's me , my wife and our three kids. I have two daughters and one son who have graduated from University of Management and Technology and from University of Lahore.

My Retirement Life:

My retirement life is very easy going life with start of my day with morning prayer. Since I m a Muslim, I pray five times a day and do chores of the household with gardening and shopping from the local stores.
