I assume the word reality is based on what feels reals. It sounds to me a life steered by AI is like a the black mirror tail. No way I would AI rule my life this way (ai already hated the Kit that talking car of the Nightrider). By now their are fridges ordering the groceries and spending from your walker. I am glad I have no Alexa ( I hate that type of music and waves and so on do not calm my mood). That TV set should follow the rest out of the window or be dismantled. Who knows it makes a good frame for a painting.
If you ask me being awake is indeed a nightmare. Time to go back to bed and reality.
