I'm not your pet

Rubén is a young man who has always gotten what he wanted. His parents, always busy with their jobs, leave their son in the care of different people, since he is never satisfied with anyone. He treats badly all those his parents ask to look after him.

A woman of about 55 years old arrives at his house. His parents introduce her, saying, "Son, this is Mrs. Marcela. She will help you with whatever you need." Rubén looks at her with disdain. She returns the same look, something that catches the young man's attention, and he slowly walks away.

The parents tell their son that they have to be away for a week for work reasons , Marcela tells them not to worry, she will accompany her son.

Rubén and Marcela stay home. The boy decides to play a prank on the lady. He takes a kind of branch and says to her, "Hey, come here. I don't have a pet, and I want you to act like one." Mrs. Marcela looks at him and says, "I'm not your pet." She chases him all over the house. The boy runs, glancing around every now and then, and thinks he sees an animal behind him.

Suddenly he falls to the ground. Mrs. Marcela takes the branch from him and hits him twice hard with it. He looks at her and apologizes. From that day on, Rubén begins to change, moderating his behavior. His parents return home and see their son's transformation. They ask Mrs. Marcela how she manages this. She replies, "A little firmness, and that's all."
