SteemPro: My first time playing Steem Heights
Hello friends, if you've followed my blogs I've been playing Cur8 games for some time and I wanted to try my hands on all other games on Steemit.
I wonder if that's all the games on Steemit in the picture. I would definitely love to see more.
Anyways I tried Steem Heights on SteemPro because it was literally the first game I saw when I entered their website.
Because I've been playing Cur8 games, I notice the similarities between Steem Heights and Sky Tower. I wonder which came first on the chain. If I had to guess I would say Steem Heights, it looks more of a classic I think.
I want to share my experience.
One thing I know is I'll need to get good because I doubt I'm anywhere near the standard scores.
As a game it involves climbing the leaderboard by building up stacks of blocks that are in constant motion. Comparing to Sky Tower, this is a bit more technical to get the perfect alignment but it's the same strategy, if you find a rhythm you'll be getting combos over and over.
You must have good timing to stack blocks on top of the previous layer.
With my gaming session I made four different tries.
I attempted to gain the most overall height, and used the perfect drops to get a bonus of 2m.
For my first try of the session I was able to keep going until my stack collapsed and ended my session at 52m total altitude. I achieved 3 of the perfect bonus drops and got a height advantage of 2.
I knew it was going to take more practice to go up the ranks in the leaderboard.
My second try was the best of this session. Again I built a better stack, and ended my try at 57m. For this try I had 6 perfect drops that gave a total height advantage of 12m, and a bonus of 14m, this was my best try of the entire time playing.
There was not much height added to my third attempt. I built a stack of 41m and achieved 4 perfect drops that gave a height advantage of 8m but my stacks collapsed at the center. I had an altitude of 41m.
The last climb was the shortest of all. @dhdiy was shown as the next mark to hit on the leaderboard, positioned only 133 meters away. The tower only got me to 27 meters before collapsing. I only got 1 perfect combo, giving me a total of +2 meters.
So the best I could do was 57 meters, although I did get as many as 6 perfect combos in one session. It's my first time so I know I'll do better next time having all this new experience.
Thank you for reading, if you want to play games, Steemit games are very cool.
