THE DIARY GAME: 5TH JUNE, 2026 | Hair Day, Rainy Weather & A Calm Ending

Today started very early for me, even though it rained the previous night.I woke up earlier than usual because I already had a plan I wanted to make my hair before work properly started.So immediately I woke up, and got ready, and left the house.

I took a bike because I wanted to get to work on time and start my hair before my bosses arrived.

The plan was for my colleague to help me make my hair before the day became busy.Getting to work, I did the normal cleaning first because work before enjoyment.After we finished cleaning, my colleague came around and we started making my hair.Everything was going smoothly until halfway through when one of my bosses showed up unexpectedly and we had to pause immediately.

We just acted like nothing was happening.Luckily, after some time he stepped out to get food and we quickly continued and finished it.Honestly, I was so happy because my hair actually came out nice and I’ve been wanting to make it for a while.

One thing that also made today better was that I got some money and I was genuinely happy because I really needed it.It felt like one of those little wins that come at the right time.Work itself was calm and not too stressful.During free periods, I tried continuing with my learning and watched some tutorials on YouTube.But I won't lie, at some point my brain started overheating and I got confused with what I was learning.

Instead of forcing myself, I decided to pause and continue another time.Slow progress is still progress.
We closed pretty early today, which made me happy.After work, I stopped at a provision store to buy my body cream.On my way back, I saw popcorn and decided to buy some for my nieces too.

Getting home, I relaxed and started watching The Blood Sister on Netflix.Later in the evening, I spoke with one of my friends and we ended up having a really long conversation. It had been a while since we talked like that, so it felt nice catching up.

Overall, today was calm, productive in its own way, and honestly not bad at all.Nothing too dramatic happened, but I enjoyed the little moments today.
