What is something that happened to you and felt impossible to get through but you did?

This was my very personal Mount Everest climb without a book on how to get back down, the moment when I actually got accepted into a university. The tense air whilst waiting to receive results, completing, filling and submission of forms along with applications and its relevant files is possibly the only test to one's patience. The idea of competition and the notion that one wouldn't reach their goal gets to your head. But accepting, and going through the motion, I succeeded.

How has this tough time changed what you value most?

Every tough moment when I'm hoping things work out that one looks forward to a positive outcome really put life in perspective it's not just about hitting the goal anymore, it's trusting myself to get through it and it and the peace I feel after. And honestly my family and friends matters more than anything.

What's a small win you've had recently that felt huge?

It's Mount Everest to you when its an acceptance letter or identity card to a University, but it could be anything minor. The achievement of going to school- as in the moment that you weren't an applicant and you are now a student; your thoughts always reflect the past when the goal finally arrived.

What's a new perspective you've gained on life or yourself?

A momentous and life-changing occurrence would surely be at University, where you believe that all that you had wished for was attainable. At University I arrive to the realization that what I always imagined is true and I don't even have to wait till the peak of my ambition to realize. Right when I walked on campus I felt more confidence. Persistence always pays.

Is it really true that "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger". Why?

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger is the very word that applies here.

Yes; but only when you do not over use and take advantage of this saying as going against the grain. Only when you are not abusing the term to yourself and the ideology does the growth and strengthening come. And so when I stood up from this, I think I grew into the strongest being as ever imagined at the time I was given the acceptance.

Thank you for reading, and I would like to invite @mesola, @chant, and @josepha to participate.
