The Diary Game: Trying Different Head-tie And Family Life(08/06/2026)

I see head-tie on a church member and I decided to give it a try. I ask the lady in question who tie it for her and she says it’s a auto-gele. She says someone do tie it for her and she can give me her contact. I just tell her that I want to recreate it for myself. I have a wedding party to attend and I’ve been looking for a different head tie and not a common one. Seeing the head-tie on the lady in church gives me the urge to try it out if it’s will suit me and if I can try it. I decided to practice it and tie on a mannequin head. I get a three layer fabric, pin and mannequin head. The measurements I use in tying is 45/50, I made a five pleats and tie from the back of the mannequin head and cross it in the front of the mannequin head and made ruffles from the left side and tie and pin along till it’s get to the middle of head-tie and secure it well with pin firmly.

The right side of the fabric I tie on the mannequin head, I made a pleat and join it with the ruffles, I use pin to secure it at the end of the pleat. I folded the back of the tie and secure it with pin. The ruffles I made towards the end of the head-tie in left side of the fabric isn’t really tight and as such I had to secure with pin, when I’m done making sure it’s tight enough. Afterwards I went to the kitchen and cook maize. I got the maize on our way from church, the previous day but I couldn’t cook it because we had what to eat already on way home. I prepare it on a char coal pot and along the line I felt need to rest I told my daughter to check on the maize while I rest. I told her to add charcoal to the burning one one before I slept off. She did and when I wake up she kept some for me.

She told me she ate some and give to her brother and her dad as well. I ate the cook maize she kept for me and went to the veranda of the kitchen to check if it’s not messy and do the cleaning. I got there and met it clean and tidy. I applaud my daughter for a job welldone. She says but it’s my duty mummy and I smile, a lot came to my mind that minute, I thought about how far she’s grown and how responsible she is when it’s comes to taking care of the house. I just can’t thank God enough for how he’s blessed me despise I don’t have a mother, he blessed me with a daughter and mother. My daughter acts like my mom sometimes, the things she does is amazing. I just can’t do without praising and appreciating her for the support she renders even without me asking from her.
