Today, I am here to participate in another wonderful competition organized by @steemkidss in the Steem Kids & Parents community. This competition includes various topics where everyone has the opportunity to showcase their creativity. It is truly a beautiful initiative, and I would like to sincerely thank @steemkidss for organizing it. I am very happy to share my creativity through this blog today. In this post, I will present ‍a “Making a Lotus Flower with Colored Paper.

First, I cut the red paper into square shapes and made three pieces for creating the flower.

Next, I folded the square paper in half.

Next, I folded the paper several times and carefully cut it into the shape of a flower.

Next, I made three flowers by cutting them in the same way.

Next, I carefully glued the flowers on top of one another.

Next, I cut a piece of yellow paper into thin strips of the required size to place in the center of the lotus flower.

Next, I folded the yellow paper into four parts and cut out the entire shape with scissors. Then, I used glue to assemble all the pieces and made a flower.

Next, I glued the yellow flower into the center of the red lotus flower.

Next, I cut a parrot-green colored paper into a circular shape to make the lotus leaf for the bottom of the flower.

Next, I drew the desired shape on one side of the paper with a pen and then cut that part out using scissors

Now, attach the lotus flower to the lotus leaf using glue.

And with that, my handmade lotus flower was finally completed.

Today, at this moment, I would like to say just one thing: even if we wish for it, not all of our heart’s desires come true. Some incompleteness always remains within us.
