morning
Immediately after waking up in the morning, I brush my teeth and freshen up. Then, I sweep and dust my room to clean it. Afterward, I take a short stroll on the balcony before taking a bath. Bathing in the morning provides a wonderfully fresh and refreshing feeling, especially during the hot season. Next, I eat two biscuits and get ready to attend my classes. Once ready, I head out to the university, carrying my bag and umbrella.
afternoon
As I was walking through the university campus after finishing my classes around noon, the fragrance of blooming Kadam flowers wafted into the air. I then noticed a group of Zoology students, nets in hand, attempting to catch snakes or insects. As I continued on my way, I took a photograph of a particular tree. Many people mistake it for a date palm; although its fruit grows in hanging clusters similar to dates, they are not dates at all. Moreover, while it resembles a palm tree, I have seen in various videos that its tender shoots are often cooked and consumed—though I have never eaten it myself, nor do I know its exact botanical name. I then returned to my hostel, changed my clothes, freshened up, and sat down to have my lunch.
For my meal, I had plain white rice accompanied by fried pointed gourd (Potol Bhaji), a curry of Rui fish, and Chili Paneer. Afterward, I spent a little time on my phone posting a few updates; then, after watching a movie for a while, I drifted off to sleep.
night
Towards evening, after freshening up, I sit down with a book for a while; then, I prepare and eat a snack of Muri Makha—puffed rice mixed with peanuts, mango, and onions. Later, when the bell rings for dinner, I head to the dining hall to eat. Since bringing phones into the dining area is prohibited, I return to my room after the meal to wash and clean my plate. Afterward, I sit down with my book once more before eventually falling asleep for the night.
