I wonder about the oil pressing . Do you use the same technique as with acrylic paint? A gel plate and paint?
It sounds odd to me as well to add pvc on oil paint.

The method I use for oil is different from acrylic, mainly because oil stays wet for long enough to use a pencil to add pressure. With acrylic, I press the paper down within a minute or so and quickly rub the back of the paper with my hand.
