No such thing except the thing in itself:) And a painting is a facsimile, a new arrangement of the thing(s) that are already perfect, like solid tree, wood house, old human. I think a perfect painter would be able to paint the wind without anything else but the wind in the picture. I think that’s why the Zen Buddhists just keep pointing.
