Hello my dear Steemians,

 

It is spring and it is time to get more outside for both for children and adults. When we think about children the favourite place to go is either to parks where they can run and play on playground but also another place is seaside. I believe the days when it is warm many people prefer to go to sea side because they can play on dry sand but also using different figures, maybe small buckets, plastic figures for making sand figures.

This time little Lea is on beach with her mother, who had collected picnic basket and a blanket, they had some biscuits and sandwiches. Lea had her food and noticed that little guests around her, they were seagulls. They were careful at the beginning they were coming close but once Lea was getting up then seagulls were flying away. Lea decided to strike one and noticed that if she gives a little bit of bread they come to her. Lea spread pieces of bread like a little path and at the end the bread crumbles were coming to her blanket. Once she made it there were first few birds, but slowly it was more and more. Even one one occasion the birds started to fight with each other for piece of bread.

Lea had a lot of fun from it and felt like she is a queen of birds and that she can command the birds. Still despite of becoming friends the birds did not want to come close or take from Lea’s hand her bread. Lea was upset, her mother had fun watching that and even had some laugh. Seeing that her daughter is upset her mother explained that the seagulls are wild birds and even though they understand that there is no danger from Lea but still they want to be free and will never be like other pets. Lea learnt another lesson today, that wild live is not domestic.
