A warm and heartfelt greeting to everyone. I hope your day is peaceful, joyful and filled with the beautiful little moments. That bring smiles to your heart. I am delighted to be here once again. I truly happy to participate in this wonderful contest hosted by @xkool24 sir. I appreciate this opportunity to share my thoughts with all of you.

A quiet village was nestled among the green hills and golden wheat fields. In that village lived an old donkey named Bruno. He is neither as beautiful as the mighty horses nor as important as the milch cows. His gray fur was matted. One ear was slightly bent. His slow gait made the people think of him as weak and useless.

Bruno belonged to Hamid. An elderly farmer, who loved him very much. Every morning Bruno would carry sacks of vegetables from the farm to the village. Rain or shine, he never complained. The children of the village often made fun of his tricks. They called him "lazy donkey",. Well the Bruno quietly went about his business.

But no one knew that Bruno had an uncanny ability to sense danger.

On a cold autumn evening. The dark clouds covered the sky. It started raining heavily. The wind started blowing hard. People hurried to their homes. Farmer Hameed locked all the animals in the pen. TheBruno looked restless. He was repeatedly stamping his feet on the ground and making the loud noises.

Hameed patted his neck and said. "Calm down my friend, it's just a storm."

But Bruno was not silenced. Suddenly he pushed open the door of the shed and ran towards the river flowing near the village.

Hamid ran after him with a lantern in his hand. The rain was so heavy that his clothes were soaked. As he approached the river, he saw Bruno making loud noises and pointing towards the river bank.

Hamid got scared seeing this scene.

Torrential rain had caused the river to overflow, and the old wooden bridge was about to collapse. At the same time some children were returning from the fields to the village and were about to climb the same bridge in the dark.

Hameed immediately shouted to the children, while Bruno ran to stand in front of the bridge. The children stopped in surprise. The next moment the bridge broke with a loud sound and was swept away into the river.

If Bruno hadn't stopped them, they might have all fallen into the river.

The next morning there was talk of bravery of the Bruno throughout the village. People who used to mock him now respected him. Children brought him carrots and apples every day. While farmers decorated his yard with the colorful ribbons.

No one called him a "lazy donkey" anymore. The whole village called him by a new name:

"The Silent Guardian of the Green Valley"

And Bruno's story is a lesson to all:

Sometimes the most courageous lies in the quietest hearts.
