The Diary Game || SCHOOL RESUMPTION, COMMITTEE MEETING AND OTHER ENGAGEMENTS || 20/04/2026

It's a good thing that every day, I have what seems like an accountability table where I submit my dairy activities. Today was different from any other day since I have been enjoying the few weeks of holidays, using the time only for developing myself, pursuing my master's degree as well.

This morning, my wife woke me up when power was restored, and I struggled to read, but I couldn't, I fell back to sleep at about 4 am. But when my alarm cried unstoppably, I knew that tone was for 5am, and I quickly had morning devotion.

My son was coughing the previous day, and it wasn't ideal taking him to school until his health was restored. I left the house at about 8 am, just to go and answer as the chaplain of the school, but I ended up teaching four (4) different classes in computer studies.

On School Matters

I left the school after my class with primary 4 for a planning committee meeting concerning the forthcoming Christian Council of Nigeria (CCN) Akwa Ibom State Chapter, one day conference on 14 May 2026. It was scheduled for 12 noon, and I arrived on time.

It was frustrating that I got to the venue of the meet before 12 noon, but the meeting was called to order at 1:47pm. I was dealing with big men, and I had to wait patiently. Each of them came late, apologized for their reasons, and the meeting went smoothly.

About the Committee Meeting

Sub committees were formed for easy breaking down of the tasks. The media, logistics, printings, welfare, conference planners, and LOC. We took time to draft how the program would run and then rise with closing prayers as the meeting ended for further actions at about 4:06pm.

One of the committee members gave me a lit as he drove my way. I got home so tired. I went straight to the bathroom to refresh. I had lunch and took a little time to sleep, but our newborn was crying when the mother (my wife) was handling light domestic chores. I cut short my sleep to calm the baby down. I carried him around the house.

The Evening Activities in photos

Around 8:12 p.m., the children were already asleep, so I followed my wife to Richway Supermarket to buy baby stuff. While returning, we got a bag of sachets of water and got to the house around 8:48 p.m., calling it a day.

It was a nice day to handle things differently and maturely. In the end, we need the results, and above all, we are going to be at peace ✌️.
