Alexandrov's Place

Alexandrovo Place is a village in the Ust-Kubinsky district of the Vologda region. The distance to the regional center (Ustye village) is 17 km. There are very few permanent residents, according to the census - 29 people, in fact three times less.

The place of Alexandrovo – quiet and cozy, but for me it seemed mysterious and a little gloomy.

There is already another waterway here – the Kushta River, where I could not find either the source or the mouth...

It seems that these are all the channels and elders of the Kubena Delta.

In Alexandrovo itself, there are also some small creeks, staritsa channels, in one of which, according to tradition, a beaver tried to scare me.

This time he succeeded, and for a few seconds the dead silence was filled with disapproving speech addressed to the amphibian.

There was once a monastery here, founded by Alexander Kushtsky...The stone church is all that remains.

There is information that the wooden church was taken from here in 1962 to the Spaso-Prilutsky Monastery, where it was restored and still stands today.

In this place...At Alexandrov's place, the sensations and emotions were already much brighter.

Even taking into account the high and unjustified expectations of this place, I still liked it!

A place for a one-time visit, but it will be remembered for a long time!
