Traditional Corn Cooking Method with Charcoal and Natural Steam

Assalamu Alaikum, I hope everyone is well and enjoying their lives. Today I am going to share a method in which we will steem corn husks over coals. It is a very easy method to make it. First of all, we have taken fresh corn husks, and we can also buy them from the market. We have a farm here. I had broken them and brought them from there. Then I took a vessel in which we were going to light the fire. In it, I first put the ash of these husks. I also put some wood, and I lit the fire with it.
When the fire was properly lit, it was found that it would not burn anymore, so we had to place the corn husk on top of it with the help of any stand so that they would not fall on top of the coals, because if they fell on top, the fire would be extinguished, so we simply had to place them on top of it and heat them on both sides.

When we place it on top of it, the result will be that all the husks on top will burn. When they burn, steam will be produced inside them. When the steam is produced, it will cook our corn husk. In this way, we have to keep changing it over and over again. When we saw that it had been burned well, I took it down and removed the husks on top of it.

When we place the corn husk on top of the husks, it gets a lot of steam, due to which it gets half-cooked. Then we have to remove the husks and place them again on the coals, because then the coals get hot properly and the fire goes out. So we have to place the corn husk on top of these coals, and then we have to cook it slowly. We have to keep changing its place again and again so that it does not burn too much.

In this way, after placing it on the coals, finally we will have this corn husk ready. We have to lift it once and see if this corn husk is not raw from somewhere. Wherever it looks more raw, we have to place that place on these coals. In this way, it will be completely ready for us. So in this way, we steamed this corn husk at home and presented that method in front of you.

I'm also going to present to you a short video that I made during this procedure. I hope you like it. Thank you all very much for stopping by.
Thank You
