School Farewell Day
Dear friends, admins, and all beloved community moderators. May we always be under His protection!
Farewell Day is a culminating moment to celebrate graduation and reminisce about the learning years. This farewell day also marks the end of the togetherness between graduating students, their teachers, and their juniors. This event is usually filled with meaningful activities such as a farewell ceremony, art performances, musical performances, and a touching sungkeman procession with friends and teachers.
Just like what we just held at our school, the farewell ceremony for graduating students for the 2025-2026 academic year, which just took place yesterday. This moment is certainly a very touching moment full of sadness and emotion, considering that this year's graduating children have served and served together for approximately 6 years.
As is the usual event procedure, on this school farewell day, we present it with great fanfare. The following are some of the preparations and important things that we are preparing for the farewell event for our school students this year:
1. Preparation of the stage or venue for the event
We have prepared the stage or venue for the event as well as the resting place for invited guests and student guardians by renting it from a third party outside the school. Preparing the venue and stage and all other things, we do not burden the students but rather the principal and teachers who prepare it.
2. Schedule
We have carefully planned the program with sufficient time. The school teachers have trained the students who will perform at this year's farewell party well in advance. Among the events included:
Requesting blessings through the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by a student representative.
Welcoming the graduating students by a dance group.
A traditional Acehnese dance performance by students we have mentored.
Welcome remarks from the principal.
Welcome remarks from the school supervisor.
Presentation of school attributes to the graduating student representatives by the principal.
Presentation of medals or souvenirs to the graduating students.
A farewell speech by one of the graduating students.
A farewell song by the graduating students.
A pencak silat performance by the students we have trained.
A prayer led by a graduating student.
In addition to the 11 points above, we featured many other activities on our school farewell day. In a relatively bright atmosphere, the event proceeded lively and full of emotion.
Farewell day is certainly the final opportunity for graduating students to gather together, apologize, and greet their teachers and friends.
