My Country 🇳🇬 is Bleeding!
My country is bleeding, and the signs are becoming harder and stronger to ignore. Every day, news of kidnappings, bandit attacks, terrorism, and violence reaches our homes, social media. Families go to bed worried about their safety, and many parents live in fear whenever their children leave for school. The current trending one now are parents giving some charms to their children to take to school.
One of the most painful aspects of this crisis is the abduction of innocent children. Schools should be places of learning, hope, and growth, not places where fear exist. When children are kidnapped, it is not only the families that suffer; the entire nation feels the pain. Dreams are stopped, education is affected, and trust in the future begins to weaken.
Many communities have also experienced attacks that have forced people to abandon their homes and livelihoods. Farmers are afraid to work on their farms, travelers fear certain roads, and businesses struggle in areas affected by insecurity. These challenges have contributed to economic hardship and increased suffering for ordinary citizens.
The greatest tragedy is that behind every headline is a real human story. There are mothers praying for the safe return of their children, fathers struggling to protect their families, and communities trying to rebuild after loss. These are not just rocket science, they are people whose lives have been changed forever.
My country is bleeding, but I believe healing is possible. It will require commitment from leaders, cooperation among citizens, stronger security measures, and a shared desire for peace. Every child deserves to learn without fear. Every family deserves to live in safety. Every citizen deserves the opportunity to pursue a better future.
Nigeria's wounds are deep, but they are not beyond healing. With unity, justice, and sincere efforts to address insecurity, the nation can recover and become a place where hope triumphs over fear and peace replaces violence.
Honestly, I am tired of everything right now. As deep as it is, no government official is acting or saying anything, they are all after the 2027 party elections. It is so sad as we don't know what to do again, we are all left in the hands of God! We can't stop praying now because this is the most time to keep pressing!
