Humility: The quiet strength we overlook!

In today's world, humility has veen thrown away because of so many achievements, noise, different opinions are being defended. In traffic everyone wants to fly, in market, everyone wants to be the first to be served, in church no ome wants to be ushered to a seat. In the middle if all this, humility stands quietly hoping to be noticed.

You can agree with me that we all see humility as weakness or thinking less of oneself, but I tell you, it is not. It is understanding who you really are without always having to prove it. We become more visible when we are humble. I usually see life as live today and let tomorrow worry for itself but growth through the word of God gave me an understanding that life is way beyond my thought.

Each time I open the Bible, I would come across humility and I told myself, that is a message for you. When we are proud, we quietly block our way without knowing it. My father in the Lord would always say, “Everyone is absolutely responsible for the outcome of their lives.” Now aak yourself, what if my proud attitude is my mountain in life? A humble person knows their strength but does not use it to overshadow others.

When you see a humble person, they are always peaceful, quiet, open to correction even in their dressing, you can perceive humility. They fon't see others as competitors but people they can learn and grow with. When we are proud, we hardly accept our wrong but when we are humble, we see our wrongs easily.

I am not a perfect being when it comes to humility, but I kept seeing a movie over and over again just to understand how the young lady's transformation happened because she was so proud and wants to shine more than everyone, but somehow, something hit her differently and she turned out to be humble and guess what? she shined way more than everyone, meanwhile she has struggled for this fame with pride.

Sadly, humility is overlooked because it does not demand attention. It is not loud or compete but its impact is forever. It is hard and difficult to forget someone who ever treated you with kindness, respect and simplicity.

Humility is just a quiet strength that carries great power. In a world of loud noise and various troubles, perhaps all we need is a humble spirit to always guide and direct us to the right path!
