To Neuter or Not to Neuter

Ever since my little kitten Hermosú came into my home, I’ve asked myself this question every day: to neuter or not to neuter? And although several months have passed since his arrival, I still don’t have the answer, but time doesn’t stand still, and I’m starting to feel anxious about this decision—one that may seem trivial to humans but is quite the opposite for an animal, in this case a male cat.

Sometimes I think it’s trendy to neuter cats, since everyone justifies this act, and I don’t want to seem irresponsible. But have you ever stopped to wonder for a moment how your pet feels without his testicles? Have you put yourself in his shoes? If he were female, this decision would already be made; without hesitation, I’d do it for several reasons—mainly to prevent her from breeding.
