If the bill becomes law, Kentucky’s poultry producers who slaughter fewer than 20,000 birds a year will be able to sell directly from their farm, a farmers market, or a roadside stand WITHOUT transporting their flock to a mobile processing unit or wading through costly, bureaucratic regulations.
