Palacio Errázuriz

This is the Errázuriz Alvear Palace, one of Buenos Aires' most elegant mansions, located on Avenida del Libertador in the Recoleta neighborhood. It was designed in 1911 by French architects in a French style. Today, it houses the National Museum of Decorative Arts, which exhibits collections of furniture, paintings, sculptures, and European art objects. Admission to the museum is free, and a visit is always a pleasant outing that combines history, architecture, and art—and a nice stroll through the neighborhood.
