Hello my wonderful people ,
I’m so happy to be here doing this post today. Many persons believe that hypertension commonly call high blood pressure (Bp) is a disease that affects only older adults.
However, in recent years, and with what i have seen as a health care worker more young people are being diagnosed with high blood pressure than ever before.which I still can figure out if it’s a problem worldwide or it just here in Africa.

What is Blood Pressure?

Blood pressure is the force exerted by blood against the walls of the arteries as the heart pumps.
This force exerted is needed to carry oxygen and nutrients, but is it’s become to high or low it causes serious problems to the body.
Its force is measurable and recorded with two different numbers for example 125/82 which are measure at two different moments.

Systolic (Top number) which records pressure in your arteries when your heart beats and pumps blood out and
Diastolic (Bottom number) which records pressure in your arteries when your heart rests between beats.
A normal blood pressure is generally around 120/80 mmHg for adults. A record of 130/80mmHg is classified as high pressure .It often show no symptoms .
When the pressure remains high for a long period, it can damage important organs such as the heart, kidneys, brain, and eyes.
