It's time to start drawing something...

It's probably been over half a year since I held a pencil... strange, but I have these breaks quite often lol. The first one lasted thirty, thirty-five years, so half a year seems like a blink of an eye.

But today, my wife asked me a simple and very direct question about why I stopped drawing, and I don't have an answer.

I want an original idea, not some remake, and the direction isn't easy for me to choose; it has to emerge somehow, you know, like a colony of sambuca-like fungi appearing out of nowhere on the surface of vinegar.

I've already started looking for the sketchbook my kids gave me for my birthday, but I haven't started drawing in it yet. I need to fix that, and I hope that through this cloudy glass, something will become visible again.

In principle, we could continue the biblical theme, especially since Senya has several unfinished works. However, it's sometimes difficult to depict something on this topic, and it must come not from the brain, but from the Holy Spirit.

Agrarian themes and village life are also close to my heart, but here I especially want to not just paint a landscape, but imbue it with some kind of mood. It has to speak somehow, but for now it's silent. LOL.

I'll probably sharpen my pencils today, and tomorrow I'll try to transfer the graphite from them onto a white sheet of paper.

A veces es bueno descansar un poco para luego retomar las actividades con otra visión y con más ánimo. Las imágenes que mostraste sobre tus ejercicios pictóricos son muy interesantes. Te felicito por ello.
