Good night!
"Good night!" is a phrase we hear every day, but it's rare that I'll even bother to ponder its meaning. Even when something happens to us, like an earthquake or something equally bad, which usually happens to us, apparently to make fun of those who wish us good night.
In general, the phrase is very meaningful if the person wishing you good night understands what they're saying.
Although, as a rule, we respond with the same thing without hesitation.
But yes, in the morning you might be asked what you dreamed about, and good for you if you were counting oats in the dream and not running away from some investigators. This also contradicts the idea of a good night.
The best night is probably the one when you just sleep and don't remember anything in the morning, and no one will say that what you dreamed was a sign of something good or bad.
