A tangled ideal world.

A tangled ideal world.

People have always dreamed of living in an ideal world, ever since they left the ideal world called Paradise, and since then, they've tried to recreate something similar, but man-made.

There are many views on the ideal world, as many as there are people, but there are some basic criteria for an ideal world, and today I tried to eliminate one of them.

Yes, it is precisely the elimination of what hinders us in this world that, logically, leads people to the ideal world.

There are many examples of this.

For example, in China, sparrows were hanging around, calling the world ideal, and they decided to exterminate the sparrows that were eating crops in the fields. This led to the predominance of other pests, all sorts of bugs, which happily ate crops just like sparrows.

Japan, Jamaica, and Hawaii had a similar problem with sugarcane pests, the presence of which was incompatible with a world that could be called ideal. Therefore, mongooses were introduced, which successfully eradicated all the pests. Once the pests were gone, they began to destroy rare wild birds and the poultry of local farmers.

The path to an ideal world is very convoluted, difficult to accurately predict, and full of traps.

Although logic dictates that eliminating certain irritants should lead to something ideal, it doesn't work that way. At least, something always has to be sacrificed, as, for example, I had to sacrifice the red of a sunset, the red of a butterfly, the red of a dragonfly, and the color of a red rose.

Now, they all seem to be in a perfect order of shades of gray, but we cannot appreciate the true beauty of this, being content with a lot of light and shadow and some textures.
