The Diary Game: (24/05/2026) _ A Very Stressful Travel Experience

Hello Steemit audience, it's your girlie chiamaka okoronta but known as @chiamakag as my Steemit username. It was finally time to say bye to my parents, neighbours and loved ones because I was going back to school today, I've really enjoyed my holiday by doing so many enticing things and also engaging in many activities while at home. So firstly I started my day with some chores, like washing of clothes, I washed my clothes, my brother's clothes, and also my mum and dad's clothes were not left out. After I was done, considering the fact that time was no longer on my side because of church and I needed to be in church today. So I hurriedly washed the clothes, took my bath and left for church. I didn't even eat because I wasn't feeling hungry, and I need to be in church so as to come back on time and leave the house. Mass today was very lively and everything really went well. Finally we were done with mass, and I left the church environment and went home.

Whenever I get the feeling of going back to school I feel so excited because I'll be seeing my friends and course mates once again. As I got home, I was asked to cook a meal for my family before leaving, although my senior sister was supposed to cook the food, but we made a deal that she helps me to pack my clothes, because I always prefers the way my sis always folded my clothes while packing it and then I'll cook the meal which she agreed. So then the deal was carried out, I did my part and she did her own part too and the food was ready and also my clothes were nearly packed by her. I wasn't feeling hungry so I carried my own meal to school, which I know will be helpful to me when I get back to school. So I got up, carried my travelling bag and left the house after saying my prayers, soon I was at the motor park to board a bus. On our way, there was a very heavy downpour which made me so scared, because I hate travelling under the rain. The worst now happened, our bus spoilt halfway, and I was so pissed because it was a lonely area. Our driver tried and tried until finally the car started.

When I checked my time I noticed that we had spent 1 hour plus while waiting for the driver to fix the car, and it was getting late already, and I also hate late night journey. Soon we arrived at another park in our location, I came down boarded a tricycle that took me to the hostel. I got to my hostel room and everyone in the room were so excited to see me after some weeks. We all hugged, laughed, and greeted. They were really joyous to see me and me too I have also missed them alot. First thing first I called my parents and my relatives also telling them all that I had reached my hostel before I started unpacking and arranging my things in their rightful positions, and ate my food which I brought from my house, after eating I was so tired and rested. I was so tired that I didn't even get to know that it was night already and I needed to get something before they lock me outside because the hostel has a time for the gate to be closed.

I started feeling hungry which made me to go outside to get something to eat, then I saw a friend of mine who was already in school because she didn't travel. She saw me from afar, shouted my name, ran towards me and hugged me so tightly telling me how much she had missed me so much. I missed her too, so we decided to catch up the next day because time was already on my side, and I needed to get something so as to avoid being locked outside the hostel. So we parted ways, and I got some snacks went back to my room and ate. After eating I still rested for a very long time because of the much stress due to my travelling journey today.
