The location of this road or place is shared below. The place is Anand Bazar 27 Crossroads Gazipur. The place is quite popular. There are several roads here. Different types of people perform Jamaat here. The reason is that the place is an industrial area.
What makes this street or area important in the daily life of local people?
This street or area is very important in the daily life of the local people. The place is quite popular nowadays. The reason is that there is a big market here. The name is Anand Bazaar. This is an industrial area. People work here. And small auto-rickshaws ply here. This makes it very easy for everyone to travel. And besides this, everyone can come to Anand Bazaar and shop in peace. All kinds of things are available in this market.
What kinds of activities or people can usually be seen there?
There are various types of garment factories in Sataysh and its surrounding areas. Along with this, there are textile mills, so the influx of garment factory workers is highest here. Thousands of garment factory workers gather here in huge gatherings and bustle at the start of the morning shift and after office hours in the afternoon or evening. They support their families by hiring garment factory workers.
How does this place reflect the culture or lifestyle of your area?
The Anand Bazar Sataysh Chowrasta area is a living reflection of the local culture and lifestyle of Ghazipur. It is essentially a working class culture. Life here is very dynamic and festive, mainly revolving around the daily routine of garment workers. The hustle and bustle of the factories in the morning and the hustle and bustle of the Anand Bazaar and streets after the evening break highlight the economic driving force of this region.
What story or feeling do you think this place expresses through your photographs?
The rows of colorful easy bikes and auto-rickshaws are the main means of transportation for the people of this region, symbolizing the constant struggle for livelihood. The tangled electrical wires overhead and the dusty dirt roads create the atmosphere of a busy suburb. The pictures are not flashy. But there is a kind of calm rhythm of daily life. This is the story of a familiar locale, where the hustle and bustle of the city and the daily lives of ordinary working people have become one. This was my competition. I hope you enjoyed it.
