If you have ever spent a Sunday afternoon manually cross-checking dozens of entries, copying scores into a spreadsheet, and then rewriting it all into a publishable report, this letter is for you. Managing a Steemit Challenge well takes far more invisible labour than most participants ever realise. SteemHome was built in direct response to that reality.

Where this came from

The Steemit Challenge continues to be one of the most important initiatives on the platform, bringing together communities, organizers, curators, and participants from all around the world. Every season, organizers invest a tremendous amount of time managing contests, reviewing entries, publishing evaluations, selecting winners, and preparing reports.

The idea for SteemHome did not come from a whiteboard. It came from watching. During the first weeks of development and testing, the team spent time closely observing how experienced organizers actually work: the browser tabs, the manual tallies, the repeated back-and-forth between posts and spreadsheets.

That observation led to one honest conclusion: the tools available to challenge organizers have not kept pace with the size and complexity of the competitions they run. SteemHome is an attempt to change that.

The goal is not to replace what organizers do. It is to take away the parts that eat their time without adding value.

What the platform does

SteemHome is a challenge and contest management platform built specifically for Steemit. Rather than asking organizers to adapt to a new workflow, it is designed to slot into the one they already have.

Structured challenge pages. Rules, tasks, criteria, deadlines, and prizes all in one organised place, with dedicated sections for brief, participation instructions, and evaluation criteria, so nothing gets buried in a long post.

Participant tracking. A clear view of total participants, evaluated entries, pending entries, and missing evaluations, without counting manually.

Evaluation dashboard. One-click access to entries, inline scoring, evaluation comments, participant status tracking, and filters for pending and completed reviews.

Automatic report generation. Participants, scores, rankings, evaluation comments, statistics, and winner information collected automatically and formatted as a report ready to publish.

Throughout all of this, security remains a baseline, not an afterthought. SteemHome never handles private keys. Steem Keychain remains the signing method. Existing challenge posts continue to work as they always have, with no unsafe HTML rendering and no blockchain spam.

Inspired by real organizers

The development of SteemHome is directly inspired by observing the work of experienced organizers across the Steemit Challenge ecosystem. Organizers like @sohanurrahman, @ahsansharif, and many other community leaders demonstrate every week how much dedication is required to manage successful competitions.

Their workflow highlights the need for better organizational tools that save time while maintaining transparency and fairness. As challenge participation grows, the recurring tasks each organizer faces every week, searching manually for entries, checking if requirements were respected, tracking dozens of submissions, managing evaluation scores, preparing ranking lists, writing detailed evaluation comments, creating final reports, become increasingly difficult to handle without proper tooling.

An invitation to Season 32 organizers

Season 32 brings together some of the most dedicated organizers on the platform. That experience is exactly what would make your feedback valuable. Not as beta testers checking boxes, but as the people who understand the real friction points better than anyone else.

Season 32 organizers invited to explore the platform and share their feedback: @ahsansharif, @alejos7ven, @nevlu123, @dasudi, @lirvic, @jimiaera02, @jyoti-thelight, @mahadisalim, @wirngo, @marvinvelasquez, @oswaldocuarta, @pea07, @sohanurrahman, and @suboohi.

The ask is simple: explore SteemHome, run into its rough edges, and share what you find. Suggestions, pain points, missing features, all of it shapes where development goes next. The goal is to build tools that solve real problems faced by organizers every week.

Building together

SteemHome is not only a project. It is an attempt to build a better challenge ecosystem for the entire Steem community: a platform where organizers save time, participants enjoy a smoother experience, evaluations become easier to manage, reports become faster to create, and communities can grow more efficiently.

Still a work in progress

The first weeks of development have already revealed many opportunities for improvement. The current phase focuses on the evaluation workflow, the report generation system, and making the participant dashboard genuinely useful rather than just functional. There is real work ahead.

But the foundation is in place, and the direction is clear: give challenge organizers better tools so they can focus on what truly matters, building strong communities and rewarding quality content.

Every season, organizers like you invest hours that most of the community never sees. SteemHome exists because that work deserves better support.

I have given witness vote to support you sir

Thank you my dear @suboohi, you can also use my platform https://www.steemhome.com/ to manage your challenge in a simple way and you can automatically generate the final report.

I always try to use it but there is only a contest system here which is quite good but now I can't create a contest here because I don't have SLC contest but I don't have time to create my own contest here but of course I will make time to do it and present it. I have one thing to say here I have been seeing a problem for a long time here I get logged out repeatedly here I have to login again after some time I hope you will solve this problem and let me know. thank you.
