🚀 Rebuilding VoteBroker — from old voting bot idea to a modern curation automation platform

image.png

Over the last few month I rebuilt and modernized the old VoteBroker/SteemDunk concept into a completely new architecture.

The goal was never to create “just another voting bot”.

The idea is much bigger:

  • 👉 transparent
  • 👉 consent-based
  • 👉 USD-driven
  • 👉 community-focused curation infrastructure

💵 USD-based voting

Instead of manually selecting random vote percentages, users can define:

“I want this post to receive $2.50 worth of voting value.”

VoteBroker calculates the required vote weight automatically.

🧾 Fee-by-vote billing

No classic subscription required.

Instead of forcing direct payments, VoteBroker can settle fees through dedicated fee-post votes.

That means:

  • transparent billing
  • blockchain-native monetization
  • no hidden background charges
  • voting power becomes the payment layer

✅ Consent-based automation

One of the most important parts:

Login is NOT the same as automatic permission for fee-post voting.

VoteBroker separates:

  • login consent
  • vote consent
  • fee-post consent
  • optional auto-vote consent

Every consent can be revoked individually, and affected services are immediately blocked.

📊 Dashboard & transparency

The platform now includes:

  • curated value analytics
  • fee coverage tracking
  • voting power health
  • account health score
  • community pool metrics
  • timing recommendations

The idea is simple:

Users should understand what the system is doing — not blindly trust a black box.

🧠 Vote Timing Recommendation Engine

VoteBroker can now recommend WHEN a vote should happen.

Manual:

  • 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 minutes

Or automatic timing based on:

  • historical performance
  • competition windows
  • curation efficiency
  • voting power health
  • confidence/risk evaluation

👥 Community Pools

Communities can coordinate curation through shared rule-based pools.

Including:

  • member roles
  • vote budgets
  • pool rules
  • fee transparency
  • operational health metrics

This turns VoteBroker from a single-user tool into collaborative curation infrastructure.

🌍 Internationalization

The platform is already prepared for:

  • English
  • German
  • Spanish
  • Korean
  • Chinese

⚙️ Modern Architecture

The old legacy structure was rebuilt into:

  • Fastify API
  • React frontend
  • domain-driven architecture
  • Docker deployment
  • modular consent system
  • deterministic domain logic
  • testable recommendation layers

Still early.
Still evolving.
But the foundation is finally where I wanted it to be.

Would love to hear feedback from the Steem/Hive community 🙌
