I almost forgot Its my Birthday ๐
Birthdays ๐ are special moments in the lives of people. It's not easy to be alive in this time where there are many struggles and hardship.
Been alife is a gift and I totally appreciate this gift given to me. Even though this year seems very different for me. Guess what? I even forgot today is my birthday.
I always take my birthday very seriously and as a big deal, I even anticipate it from the beginning of the month, planning and preparing for it. But this time so many experiences made me almost forgot it's my birthday .
How can I forget to show gratitude to God for sustaining me and preserving me. Early this year I almost died but God showed me mercy! Am back to say thank you Lord.
There are many things am grateful for, I may not be exactly where I am meant to be but God has been faithful to me, atleast I have life and when there is life, hope is not lost.
Every may 27th of the year it's children's day over here in Nigeria which also happens to be my birthday day! This is a significant sign that I am so loved.
So today I may not have gotten cakes, partied or dressed up for an occasion but am so excited waking up this morning with strength in body, not sick, not in the hospital, not dead.
I just want to say thank you to everyone out here who has supported me, loved me and cared for me all through this journey. Thank you for standing by me, working with me and guiding me. I do not take your love and support for granted.
Here on Steemit I have build genuine family and friendship, we may not be from the same country or race but I love you all .
As I celebrate today as my birthday, I pray for insight, strength and life to continue steadfastly.
