"SC-S31/W1-Movie Magic |Movie About Choices (Avatar)
Steemian Friends,
Today, I will participate in a challenge of @ruthjoe ma'am in Steemit challenge 31 week 01. The name of the challenge is SC-S31/W1-Movie Magic| Movies About Choices. I hope everyone likes my writing.
I watched the movie Avatar to participate in the challenge. I used to watch a lot of movies. The main theme of the movie is that it takes place in the future, where people go to an alien planet called “Pandora” to collect valuable minerals. There is a special species of animals called “Na’vi” living there. People create “avatars” through special technology that can be controlled by the human brain and look like Na’vi.
The film's main character, Jake Sully, a former soldier, takes part in the Avatar program. Upon arriving on Pandora, he begins to understand the Na'vi way of life and their deep connection to nature. He gradually sides with them and stands against humans, who are destroying Pandora's environment.
The main theme of this movie is to teach us to protect nature, love it, and respect other cultures. I understood that after watching the movie.Avator YouTube Link
Jake Sali's decision to side with the Na'vi: Initially, Jake was working for the humans, and his job was to gain the trust of the Na'vi and force them to leave their territory. But while living on Pandora, he fell in love with the Na'vi's life, nature, and their simplicity. Especially his relationship with Neytiri changed his mind. At one point, he had to decide whether to stay with the humans and destroy Pandora or stand by the Na'vi and protect them. In the end, he sided with the Na'vi, which turned the whole story around. Because of this decision, there was a big war between the humans and the Na'vi, and in the end, the Na'vi were able to save their planet. I would say that Jake's change of side was the most important decision of the entire movie.

The main character of the movie
I would have taken three things differently after watching the movie Avatar. First, I would have told the Na'vi the truth from the beginning. Jake Sully was secretly mingling with them to gather information about the humans' plans, but I think that risked losing trust. If I were in his shoes, I would have told the Na'vi clearly from the beginning why the humans had come and what they wanted to do. They might have been angry at first, but gradually trust would have been built.
Secondly, I would have tried to avoid war more. In the movie, there is a big war at the end, where a lot of damage is done. If I were you, I would have tried to find a solution through dialogue between the humans and the Na'vi. For example, I would have explained to the humans that if they destroy nature, they will also suffer in the end. At the same time, I would have prepared the Na'vi for a peaceful solution.
Third, I would also try to change the group of people. In the movie, not all people are bad; there were some scientists and good people, too. I would put them together to form a group that would work to protect Pandora. This would make it possible to bring about change from within.
I would also add more mystery to the story. I would not show everything clearly at the beginning, but would gradually reveal some of Pandora's hidden aspects, like the real secret of the Na'vi's power or some hidden danger of Pandora, which would keep the audience curious. I would also present the villain character a little differently. I would show some of his good sides instead of just showing him as bad. This would make the story more interesting.
In the movie Avatar, Jake Sully's decision to "side with the Na'vi" seemed to me to be the right decision. I have written some reasons below. First of all, humans went to Pandora and wanted to destroy nature just for their own gain. The Na'vi were living peacefully on their own planet, but humans wanted to force them out. So Jake understands that what humans do is wrong, and it is right to stand against wrong.
The second reason is that a person should stand for truth and justice. Although Jake initially sided with the people, he later realized his mistakes and courageously chose the right path. This courage makes him a good person. If Jake had not made that decision, Pandora would have been destroyed, and the existence of the Na'vi would have been threatened. So his decision was not just for himself, but to protect an entire nation and nature.

Congratulations! Your post has been upvoted from sc-09 account.I guess it's time to see this Avatar movie. No...no...don't look at me that way. I know what those eyes are saying but I spent my childhood days reading more of books than watching movies. 😂
Jake must have had an inner motive why he sided with the Na'vi. Something beyond his friendship with Neytiri. I want to find out.
Off to adding Avatar to my to-watch list.
