Hello dear friends, how are you all? I hope everyone is well by the grace of Allah. I am also very well by the grace of Allah. Today I am here with a post about participating in a competition. The contest hosted by @oswaldocuarta in the 2nd week of Steemit Challenge Season 31 is SLC-S31/W2 | Steem Expedition, Hidden Gems and Local Secrets : History and Heritage.

I have reviewed an old historical Kushtia Municipality. It is located in Kushtia district. It is a very old municipality in Kushtia district. It was established in 1869. The building of this municipality was different before. It has been renovated now. It is currently a Class A municipality. Its area is 43 square kilometers. The population of this municipality is about 230000. Kushtia Municipality is divided into 21 wards. Kushtia Municipality is the second largest municipality in Khulna Division and the 7th largest municipality in Bangladesh.

According to the Bangladesh Census and Housing Census 2020, there are more than 58,000 police stations in Kushtia Municipality. More than 221,000 people live in it, of which 112,226 are males and the rest are females. Currently, there are more than 205,500 working people in Kushtia Municipality. Out of which more than 66,000 people are working in various fields. Among the working people, 59,000 are males and the rest are females. Of these workers, 75 percent are involved in service work, 20 percent are industrial and 5.30 percent are involved in agricultural work. On the other hand, 55,000 people are involved in domestic work. Of these, 55,000 are females. According to the 2017 Social and Economic Survey, the migration rate of Kushtia Municipality was 11 percent. 80 percent of the migrants are from rural areas and the rest are from other cities.

I live in Kushtia district. I went to Kushtia Municipality with my friend. This is a historical place in our Kushtia district. It is a very old municipality. This municipality was established in 1869. It is the seventh largest municipality in Bangladesh. This municipality is spread over a large area. There is a huge building here. People from villages and towns go to the municipality every day. All kinds of work is done in the municipality. My friend and I will open a shop. So I went to the municipality to get a trade license. We went there and thoroughly explored the entire municipality premises.

When we were visiting the municipality premises. We met several people. They were saying that this is a very old municipality. Many people come to visit here. Many people come to visit the municipality. Many come to do their personal work. There are such big municipalities in every district. This municipality is quite old so we went to visit there. And we also came to work.
