in STEEM WATCHER6 months ago

Hello everyone!

My name is Abubakar and i am happy to join this week’s contest. i always love learning new things about the Steemit platform and how lt works. Today’s topic is about @anti.abuse and i will share my understanding in simple English. i hope you enjoy reading my entry.

What is @anti.abuse?

Simply @anti.abuse is an auto-bot on Steemit. It is a kind of system program that helps keep the platform clean and safe for everyone. The main work of @anti.abuse is to automatically add a comment to the posts or comments made by blacklisted users.
When a persons is blacklisted it means they have done something against the rules of the community maybe plagiarisms spam or abuse. When such users post something the @anti.abuse bot comments unders their post to notify them that they are already on the abuse watcher blacklist. The purposes of this is not to insult anyone but to warn and educate them. It helps users understand that they must stops doing wrong things on the platform. In short @anti.abuse is like a watchdog that protects the Steemit community from misuse cheating and harmful activities.

What is the Differences Between Detectives’ Comments and @anti.abuse Comments?

Many new users get confused about this so let me explains in an easy way.
There are two types of comments that deals with abuse:

Detectives’ Comments

@anti.abuse Comments

A detectives is a real person who checks posts and comments manually. When a detective finds something wrong like plagiarism or spams they add a guideline comment to help the user understand their mistake. The detective might explain what rule was brokens and how to fix it next time. For exampple if someone copies anothers person’s work without giving credit a detective will comment:“Please do not copy others’ work without mentioning the sources. This is plagiarism.”On the other hand @anti.abuse is not a human. It is a bot — a computer program that works automatically. The @anti.abuse bot does not check every posts manually. It only comments when it detects that the author is already in the abuse-watcher blacklist.
So the main differences is:
Detective comments are written by real peoples who guide and educate users.
@anti.abuse comments are made automatically by a bot when it finds a blacklisted user posting something.
Both are important but they work in different ways. Detectives teach and correct mistakes while @anti.abuse warns users who are already blacklisted.

If There Are @anti.abuse Comments on Your Post

Sometimes people get surprised or even scared when they see an @anti.abuse comment on their post. But there is no need to panic. The comment simply means that your account name has appeared in the abuse-watcher blacklist database. If this happens you should not ignore it. Instead try to find out why your name is on the list. It might be because:
You copied other people’s work (plagiarism).
You posts spam or repeated the same comment many times. You used more than one account to cheat the system. You joined contests or communities with fake content.
When you see such a comment the bests thing to do is to contact one of the anti-abuse detectives or community moderators. You can politely ask for help and explain your side. if you have truly made a mistake you can apologize and promise not to repeat it again.
Being honests and respectful can helps you get off the blacklist faster. it is important to remember that the goal of @anti.abuse is not to punish but to educate and protect the Steemit community.

My Final Thoughts

In my opinion the @anti.abuse system is a very useful part of the Steemit world. It helps keep the platform clean honest and fair. Without it there would be too much spam and copied content and real users would lose motivation.I believe every user should learn about how it works so they can avoid mistakes and grow properly in tlhe Steemit journey. Detectives and @anti.abuse both play important roles — one teaches and the other warns. Together they make Steemit a better and more trustworthy place for everyone.
Let us all do our best to create original posts respect others’ work and follow community rules. That way we will never have to see @anti.abuse commenting on our posts.
