Another fun SteemHop session today.

SteemHop together 😄

After yesterday’s experiments,
I think I finally understand—at least a little—when the eagle appears.

So now,
it’s time to stop overthinking and simply enjoy the game again.

As always,
the day started with the familiar daily reward.

+10 Daily Points.

Then of course,
the moment everyone checks immediately after login…

the spin wheel.

And today?

333 points.

Very nice.

That’s the second highest reward,
so honestly,
pretty lucky today.

Before starting the runs,
I decided to check the rankings for the first time in a while.

Current rank:

43rd place with 2254 points.

Not bad…

but then I looked at the leaderboard leader.

Oh my lord.

84,249 points.

That’s almost 40 times more than my score 😅

Does this person ever sleep?

Maybe they only play SteemHop all day.
Or maybe they’re just unbelievably good at the game.

Honestly,
kind of jealous.

But still,
I should be happy with my own progress too.

So instead of worrying about rankings,
I decided to enjoy the game my own way.

And immediately,
the game tempted me again.

Can you see it?

Four coins sitting directly near the railway tracks.

Four.

Beautiful shiny bait.

So naturally,
I decided:

“I’m taking all of them.”

Surprisingly,
I actually collected all four safely.

A rare successful greedy moment.

But right after that,
I completely failed the train timing.

I hesitated in the middle of the road for just a second too long…

and got flattened by a car.

That squished elephant looked honestly hilarious 😂

Cute…
but tragic.

Alright.
Retry.

And then…

instant death at the beginning.

Roads immediately followed by train tracks are honestly one of the hardest patterns in this game.

The timing becomes really awkward.

You hesitate for half a second,
and suddenly everything kills you at once.

One more try.

And another death.

Today was definitely one of those days where everything felt slightly off.

But then…

I saw it again.

Another set of four coins near the railway tracks.

FOUR AGAIN.

The temptation returned immediately.

This time,
I somehow managed to collect all four coins successfully.

And then I noticed two more coins ahead.

Of course,
my greedy brain activated instantly.

“Maybe just two more…”

And then—

train.

Dead again 😅

But honestly,
isn’t that the true charm of SteemHop?

Sometimes you survive.
Sometimes you fail miserably.
Sometimes greed destroys everything.

And somehow,
that’s exactly what makes the game fun.

Anyway,
today was another enjoyable SteemHop session.

Now I’m curious what kind of adventure tomorrow’s game will bring.
