There's this female content creator....maybe upcoming.
How ever you guys term it.
She's cute, pretty and all that.
Here name is Maryam Asadu....
I've saved some of her photos from Facebook so I can pick some and draw, cos that's what I do.

This is one of it.

Yes, it's a pen art but black.
So let's breakdown the whole process in steps.

Steps

The light sketch;
Usually this is done ine by every artist. Before details are being added in arts. The whole body and frame of the art work should be sketched out lightly. Also in a way that can be easily erased Incase of mistakes.

In the case of a human, all body parts to be visible must first be sketched out before the detailing starts.
In this case , the face is makes the larger part of this art, and as such, all features of the face mist be sketched out in proper alignment.
The eyes, eyelashes and brows, nose, lips , etc. And also the hair which appears to be twisted was also sketched out.

The shoulder , the upper arm and then clothing.

Now, the shading.
My best part of art is the shading.
Depending on the technique I use, it could be fast or slow
This is when it actually starts to feel like I'm doing something.
But I'm using the hatching technique.
It's been working for me lately. Giving out fast and satisfying results.

I started the shading with the eye area. The eyes tell a lot about portrait art. When you get the eyes right, everything else will follow suit.

I shaded some parts of the lips aswell , then I started shading the hair. I used the coiling method for these.
Obviously, the hatching method won't work for the hair today.

I continued shading the hair till it was complete, then I went back for the face with the hatching.
The neck too.
The hatching technique, depending on how you use it can make your art to look rough or smooth.
Well, that's a lesson for another day.
Let's get this drawing tour to an end.

This is the final results after shading some parts of the clothing which is around the shoulder area.
Wow, this is a very rough hatching style. But for the purpose, it stays.
