The Diary Game: Waking up Feeling Great Cooking And Hearing One Of The Best News (18/4/2026)

Hello My Steemit Family! Good evening to you all.. Hope you're all doing well? Today let me work you through on how my day went.

I woke up feeling great and excited, I really have too many reasons to be excited, one for the gift of life, for good and sound health and especially for the best news of the day.

When I woke up, I didn't hesitate to say my compulsory morning affirmations. And after saying them, I went ahead to brush my teeth and freshened up. I headed to the nearby shop I always go, to buy something things for the morning as soon as possible, because the weather wasn't good and it was cloudy.

I got the things I needed for my cooking, and headed back home. When I got home I unboxed all I bought, and went straight into the kitchen to prepare the beans.

I know you all might be wondering why I always cook beans, the thing is, while growing up, my mom fed us very well with beans, it was the favorite food of the family then, hence it became my all time favorite.

After cooking it, I brought it down, went straight to the bathroom and took my bath, then came out and dished the food for myself, it really came out nice, and I ate to my satisfaction.

After eating, I dozed off, as I was sleeping, my phone rang and behold it was the best news I have been longing to hear. My son had a severe seizure and that really delayed his developmental journey, it affected his too legs to the point he couldn't stand, not to even talk of walking.

I took him to many hospitals here, and they tried their best, then I was advised to take him back to the village. It wasn't an easy decision, to just hand over a boy of 1year and six months to my mother, but I didn't have a choice. I took him home, and later came back to the city alone, and since then I have been praying for total recovery for him.

Just as I have always longed for, they sent me this picture today, telling me the most happiest news of the day, that he can stand and walk again! Honestly my joy knew no bound , and I'm very much grateful to God for this restoration.

It was really an exciting day for me and I'm so fulfilled. Thanks for Reading 🌹
