The Diary Game: A Busy Day In School Today (16/6/2026)

As the end of the term draws closer, the workload is becoming heavy on the teachers. From teaching, to giving assessments and setting of exam questions. It hasn't been easy lately. Today was a rainy day as usual and the flood was so much, only few learners turned up. We had our morning devotion and proceeded with the teachings.

We learned about the problems caused by bad political leaders in the community and, co-incidentally, bad road was among what we talked about today. After school period I asked I decided to darken the black board. It hasn't been darkened since the beginning of the term, and lately has been causing a lot of dust in the classroom. I'm not really used to writing on a black board, because in my former school, we use the white board, but since I came, I have learned how to adjust.

After tidying up the classroom, I headed home. I just needed to buy some fish for tomorrow so I stopped at a nearby local store to get it. I bought it and headed home, on my way it started raining, It rained so heavily again that, I had to stay at where I was taking shade, till 5:00pm, so that the flood can reduce a little bit.

As I got home, I brought out the fish and preserved it for tomorrow's cooking.

After sorting the fish out, I went straight to the kitchen and warmed up my jollof of yesterday, dished some for myself and ate. After eating, I took a hot bath because I was feeling cold, after that I laid down to rest for the day.

It wasn't an active day like before, because of the heavy rain, but again it was generally a good day well spent. Thanks for Reading through.
